Employees of the Jalaur River Multi-Purpose Project Stage II (JRMP II) took a little time to celebrate the longest holiday season of the Philippines on December 17, 2018. Unlike the previous years, the office had a simple yet still meaningful gathering with a main goal to unite in the spirit of camaraderie and celebrate not only the Christmas season but also the milestones of the project.
Each division and some sections had separate preparations for food and activities but it did not limit the participation of other employees. Foods were also shared.
Despite not having the usual festivities of the past JRMP II Christmas parties, this year’s celebration did not fall short of enjoyment and fun. There were games organized, videoke sessions and gift-giving. A band played at night which also showcased the hidden talents of some project employees. Present during the event was the NIA 6 Regional Manager and Concurrent Project Manager, Engineer Gerardo P. Corsiga, with visitors from the Project Coordinator’s Office (PCO).
Some family members of employees also participated in the said event. Kids sang carols in exchange of cash or gifts from their parents’ co-workers.
